The SSM Hospice and Home Care Foundation was established in 2001 to provide financial support for our patients and their families. The Foundation is a unique entity within SSM Hospice and Home Care headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

Important to many donors, funds are utilized within the division in which fund raising activities occur. The Foundation relies heavily on voluntarism as the total staff consists of 1.6 (FTE) paid employees; monies are raised for patients, not for overhead!

SSM Health Care is owned by the Franciscan Sisters of Mary and does not discriminate based on religion or any other legally protected status.
